Thermoplastiques Cousin-Tessier, with a well rooted place on the footwear market for many years, offers compact or expanded products adapted to the manufacturing of soles and to the direct injection process for boots or slippers.

tefanyl PVC compounds                      tefaprene TR compounds

SOLES
tefanyl PVC compounds are well-adapted to the manufacturing of unit soles for men, women and children shoes. A wide range of tefanyl are available: compact, expanded, in neutral colour, black or pre-colored in the colour of your choice. Thanks to their rubbery aspect and feet, tefaprene TR compounds, whether compact or expanded, give soft and flexible soles, ideal in cold environments.

Depending on the grade and the surface of the moulds used, a mat or bright finish is obtained.

SLIPPERS
Expanded tefanyl PVC compounds, are often used for the manufacturing of slippers, canvas shoes, produced through direct injection of the compound on the canvas, leather or synthetics upper.

The new generation of very light compounds gives very light soles with a high-quality mat finish.

Thanks to their lower density, the compact tefaprene TR compounds, give thin soles with a rubbery aspect and offer and interesting alternative to the PVC compounds in terms of fluidities allowing their use on the same equipments.

BOOTS AND SAFETY SHOES
Thermoplastiques Cousin-Tessier has developed tefanyl compounds for special applications such as boots with low hardness grades or additives improving the chemical or fungus resistance. tefanyl compounds with nitrile rubber are also used for the manufacturing of safety shoes.

tefaprene compounds allow the manufacturing of light boots with a rubbery aspect, ideal in cold environments.
