Silver Net is presently Taiwan's most capable research and development center specializing in 3D industrial application software. Staffed with a dedicated and team-oriented group of engineers, Silver Net develops and improves computer-aided systems especially for use in product development and manufacturing. Silver Net's goal is to offer clients a quick response to their problems and to provide a professional, automated, and customized solution for the clients to reduce their costs, shorten their production time, and improve their product quality.

CAD/CAM/RE industrial application software is an essential tool for making precise molds. In the past, CAD/CAM/RE software was mostly developed by European or American companies. Since manufacturers have shifted their operations to Asia, it becomes more necessary to be in close contact with the factories in order to develop CAD/CAM/RE software systems that meet actual manufacturing needs. For this purpose, Silver Net was established in 1997 at the Incubator Center of National Chung Cheng University. Through close cooperation with National Chung Cheng University, Silver Net is able to acquire up-to-date know-how for developing software. This enables Silver Net to provide computer aided software systems for various companies to improve the quality of their products at a more economical price. Silver Net also has a solid consulting team consisting of some of Taiwan's most able scholars who direct research as well as provide vision. After several years of research and software development, Silver Net now has a core technology that can be used and integrated in RE/CAD/CAM application software.

Silver Net is not only a computer-aided systems developer but also a provider of a broad range of services related to RE/CAD/CAM. In order to respond clients' needs quickly, Silver Net has established a customer service and marketing department in the industrial park section of Fu-Hsin, Chunghua, to provide complete training and consultation services These services exist with the purpose to closely interact with clients in order to meet their needs in manufacturing. Silver Net tries to respond quickly to the needs of its clients and to offer its clients professional, automated, and customized solutions. Since its founding, Silver Net has worked hard to assist its clients to integrate their manufacturing processes and to continue updating their products. Silver Net has been responsible for researching and developing projects for a few locally important companies. Current projects include developing systems for grading and machining shoe models, scanning and manufacturing denture molds, reverse engineering golf club heads, inspecting auto lamps, and machining using five axes.
