The Kerala Footwear Products, the flagship company of M C V Group, started manufacturing and marketing world class rubber footwear in the brand name of Premier Grip in 1975. Now it is one of the largest selling, most popular, most accepted brand in its category. We became world's first rubber footwear manufacturer to receive ISO 9002 certification for quality systems from L I C 6938 standards Australia in 1997.

As the name suggests, Premier brand chappals are at the prime position on the footwear world, a position we hold at the envy of many. Our products has become symphony of quality, durability, design, colour and reliability in the minds of customers due to strict quality control techniques for international acceptance. We use state of the art; fully automated production line coupled with total quality management and has a manufacturing capacity of over one-lakh pairs per day. The grips, which are made for premier footwear, are made with automatic sheeting lines. Pneumatic process control equipments and automatic strap fitting machines have enabled this great leap in production. Premier Grip has sophisticated kneader machines and on line extruders which ensure proper blending of all raw materials including natural rubber. Hydraulic presses with precision time and temperature control gadgets ensure proper vulcansing of sheets. These sheets are checked for dimensional accuracy, and are put to several quality tests. After confirming to the bench marked standards, these sheets are cured and pass for the next process. the processes involved up to sheets curing are done in the main plant.

Premier grip footwear is made with natural rubber and synthetic rubber. The rubber used in automatic sheet machines is processed in 150 C heat to make the footwear germs free. Strict quality control measures are adhered to at all process levels.
