Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association

The Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association (IFCOMA) is the only trade association of Components Manufacturers in India. It is a non-profit organisation managed by a duly elected apex body called the Executive Committee. The National Leather Development Programme and various ministries of Government of India duly recognize the association. The growth achieved by IFCOMA in the last five years is a result of the true democratic spirit of a vast number of dedicated entrepreneurs and professionals who have worked ceaselessly for the cause of the industry.

IFCOMA's Objectives are to :

• Promote a healthy growth of the footwear component industry in India.

• Promote interaction among members for development of products of international quality and to address global competition in the new liberal economic environment.

• Represent the problems of the Indian Footwear Component Industry and its affiliates to various Government, Semi-Government and concerned bodies.

• Help members acquire requisite technological advancement, product standardization and support towards improved exports performance.

• Arrange foreign collaborations, technical development support and to help the industry to avail government assistance where ever possible.

• Organize Exhibitions /  Buyers - Sellers Meets to create awareness amongst the unorganized as well as organized Footwear manufacturers about the easy availability of quality components within the country.

• Participate in International Fairs to create awareness amongst International Footwear Importers & Manufacturers about international quality components being produced in India.
