Indian Shoe Bazaar - Profiles: CLRI - Design and Development

CLRI is offering exclusive services in the field of Unit sole and sole mould design for the past few years. This service is offered for synthetic unit soles made up of TPR, PVC & Rubber materials, the designs offered were fabricated and are successfully being used by domestic and overseas customers in shoe sole production. Shoe Design & Development Centre at CLRI offers this facility using CAD/CAM techniques. This project has a wide clientele base both in and outside country.

INPUTS REQUIRED FROM CUSTOMER :

Lasted Upper
Shrinkage value of polymer material
Size range required (Graded insole/inner cavity patterns)
Sample sole (1 pair) / photo / sketch as a reference for sole design
Injection / compression mould machine specification

OUTPUT : (Provided by CLRI)

Detailed technical product drawing : (1:1 scale) for a model size
Enlarged product drawing for a given shrinkage value
Mould assembly drawing
Grading a sole drawings for a given size range (standard sizing systems)

        Time required to deliver product drawing    :    1 week from the date of confirmation
        Mould assembly drawing                          :    3 working days (additionally)
        Grading of size range                              :    3 working days

CHARGES :

         Rs.5,000.00        for product drawing
         Rs.3,000.00        for product drawings for size range
         Rs.2,500.00        for mould assembly drawing (model size)
         Rs.3,000.00        for new sole design

Technical assistance and required guidance can be provided to mould maker. Mostly, CNC machining is being used for the mould fabrication, the required profiles for machining (with shrinkage value) will be provided to mould maker, These services are at no cost.

Note : The above information is related to the soles which are mostly 2-dimensional in nature, if the product is 3-dimensional, details will be provided after studying the sole.

CLRI's Responsibilities : CLRI is fully responsible for sole / sole - mould designing as per the guidelines given by the client. We extend our co-operation to the mould maker.
