Hardener
is used as a cross linking agent for Polyurethane Solvent
Borne Adhesives. It can also be used as a Primer in specific
cases.
Application
Instruction: Add
required quantity of Hardener (as per chart below) to the
polyurethane adhesive and mix well until uniform colour is
attained. Even though the pot life of mix is 6-8 hrs. or
more, the prepared mix should be consumed in a reasonable
time i.e. 1-2 hrs to avoid the effect of solvent evaporation
and thickening of the mix leading to inferior spreading
property. Keep the pot covered whenever not in use.

appropriate procedure.
POT
LIFE AND CURING TIME:
When using hardener with appropriate adhesives, the pot life
of the mixed adhesive is usually 6 to 8 hours at normal room
temperature. This period will be shorter in an open
container due to solvent evaporation.
PRECAUTION:
Care must be taken to ensure that Hardener and Mixed,
Uncured Adhesives are not contaminated with water as this
could have a detrimental effect on pot like as well as bond
strengths.
note:
It is recommended that before using the product in full
scale production, the manufacturer should make his own
tests to determine the suitability of the product under his
operating conditions. As the circumstances under which the
products are stored, handled and used are beyond the control
of supplier, one cannot assume responsibility for their
misuse by the manufacturer.
