MosShoes July 2002

From 3 to 6 July 2002 three exhibitions, organized by MosShoes were held simultaneously in Gostiny Dvor - cultural and business center in the heart of Moscow: "MosShoes" - International Footwear Exhibition, "MosShoes-Technology" - International Exhibition of Components & Equipment for Footwear & Tanning Industry and "MosLeather" - International Exhibition of Leather, Leather Goods & Leather Garments.

The recent edition included 280 participants from Russia, Italy, Turkey, Poland, France, Slovakia, Vietnam, India, Ukraine, Belarus, China, and Taiwan. The exhibition covered the area about 5 800 sq. m. and saw 13 000 professional visitors. Statistic data of the latest edition shows that over 70% of the visitors were wholesalers and retailers and 20 % were manufactures; more than 50% of the visitors came to MosShoes in search of new business partners and to hold negotiations for cooperation.

Starting 2002 MosShoes runs four times a year: in January, March, July and October, and "MosShoes-Technology" & "MosLeather" two times a year: in January and July. By enlarging the number of the editions the Organizers try to satisfy the increasing demand of participants for exhibition space and the requests of trade visitors from different industrial regions for a more specific seasonal division of the fairs.
