Supported in their initiative by the French Tannery Federation, represented, among others, by the companies Andre Hiriar and Tannerie de Villefranque, CUIR A PARIS has procured leather for IFM students in order for them to develop unusual projects. Isn't this the best way to validate the partnership undertaken between students in IFM's << Creation Cycle >> and the major fashion houses such as Chanel, Charles Jourdan, Elle Creation, Jacques Bremaud, Stephane Kelian, JB Martin, Jol, Kenzo, Marty, Yves Saint Laurent...

Since October 2001, CUIR A PARIS has selected and welcomed more than 30 designers and creators, giving them the opportunity to order meet in Fashion context: bringing together Creation and Industry. A form of patronage chosen by the salon organisers to introduce extremely distinct universes to each other: Institutions, Producers or raw materials, Manufacturers of finished products, Designers and Educational organizations.

Daniel Ledermann and Barny Nakhla present dresses in sumptuous leathers. Tuomas Merkowski pairs crisp leathers with avant-grade basketball sneakers and uses deerskin for skirts. Chrystel Fischer imagines boots inspired by Pierre Cardin's logo. Tan Hung Yu prefers the ambiguity between transparent plastic and patent leather for a shoe, which could also be a bag...
