In September 2005, from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23, LE CUIR A PARIS will move to the exhibition park of
Paris Nord Villepinte on the same dates as other fairs grouped together under the label “PARIS POLE
MODE” (PREMIERE VISION, EXPOFIL, MOD’AMONT and INDIGO).
By welcoming LE CUIR A PARIS, PARIS POLE MODE establishes a new and exclusive concept in the world
of trade fair organizations. It consists in offering the visitors, buyers and consultants a unique, complementary
and transversal offer of leathers - fabrics - yarns - accessories -
threads - designs aimed at the fashion sector as a whole as well as the home/ design sectors.
This synergy will enable the exhibitors of LE CUIR A PARIS, amongst other things, to significantly increase
the number of potential visitors, particularly from the international. Currently, over 40 000 professionals from
all over the world come twice a year to visit the fairs of PARIS POLE MODE.
Béatrice ROUSSEAU, Show Manager, states that « this closing up is the result of the breakdown of barriers
between the textile and leather sectors as well as of an evident complementarity present in all the Fashion
and Design collections. She goes on to say that « the integration of LE CUIR A PARIS in PARIS POLE
MODE should benefit all the participants of the fairs that take place on the same dates, same venue, by
offering new sources of inspiration and creation».
The nomenclature of LE CUIR A PARIS remains the same, that is, raw hides and leathers, semi finished
leathers y compris peaux spéciales, exotic leathers and furs, all finished leathers, substitution materials,
components, chemical and finishing products, natural and artificial textiles, technology and services for the
leather sector, leather goods, shoes, clothing and furnishing.
