"96th GDS - Hot Trends for Warm Months" is the motto of GDS held from 18 to 21 September 2003 in Halls 3 to 14 of the Düsseldorf exhibition centre.

The international footwear industry is very well represented at the world's most important fashion footwear fair. Exhibitors come from 46 countries such as Australia, Brazil, France, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom or the USA to name but a few. "Over a total of 80,000 m² exhibition space roughly 1,530 ex-hibitors will be presenting the 2004 Spring/Summer trends. This means that we have achieved the figures we posted for the March event. This is an excellent result in view of the current business climate on the footwear market - underlining the im-portance of GDS as the world's leading event for this industry," says Danila Avdiu, Project Manageress of the GDS event.
