"8th Int'l Shoe Machinery & Raw Materials Exhibition" which is organized by Wenzhou Leather Industry Association & Wenzhou Donnor Exhibition Co.,Ltd will be held on 10-13 Sep.2003 in Wenzhou China. More than 500 exhibitors from 21 countries / regions will exhibit in the fair, The total booth of this year's fair is estimated to reach 1,100, 12% increase compared to the last edition, among them 38% is overseas companies. That will be the most largest leather fair in its history, by its larger scope and exhibiting area.

"Wenzhou Int'l Leather Fair" (for short), is held to meet with the increased demand in China's Leather industry, it has been held successfully for 7 years, shows great vitality and competition and now it welcome its 8th. This year, it will provides a large scope including?Footwear Machinery, Tanning Machinery, Leather, Raw Material, Leather Chemical, Furniture Leather, Components/Accessories for Footwear, CAAD/CAM System, Press and so on. It's the best way especially for overseas companies to promote their products in China's leather market.

2003 Wenzhou Int'l Leather Fair offers to international buyers the first sourcing opportunity in the second semester of 2003 in China. Despite the outbreak of SARS in the first half year of 2002, there's a great flit of the Chinese exhibitors instead.

Up to 1th Aug. 2003, there're more than 300 chinese companies confirmed their participation in the fair, booths up to 700 ( 25 %increase compare to the last edition), while 350 booths is reserved by the overseas companies by 150 overseas companies. Total exhibiting area reaches 24,000 sqm , occupy 4 halls of the exhibiting center: hall 1 (shoe materials hall), hall 2 (int'l shoe materials hall), hall 4 (int'l shoe machinery hall) in the first floor and hall 3 (shoe machinery & Taiwan shoe machinery hall) in the second floor.

For the first time, Mexico pavilion sponsored by COFOCE will strike a stage at "2003 Wenzhou Int'l Leather Fair", displaying blue wet, hide and skins. Together with the Italy pavilion, organized by ASSOCIAZIONE CONCIATORI TOSCANA ITALY, and Taiwan pavilion, organized by TAMI. In particular, this year Taiwan will increase its pavilion size by 20% , organizing a big group with 160 booths appear in the fair. France, Brazil, Czech Republic, India and bengladesh have also confirmed their participation.
