The 9th China Shoes • China Shoetec will be grandly staged
in Dongguan, the world shoes city, from May 5-7.
Co-organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import &
Export of Light Industrial Products and Arts-Crafts (CCCLA),
Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd. (MDC), Hong Kong Adsale
Exhibition Services Ltd. and Guangdong Modern Convention
and Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the UFI-approved shoe
event in Asia ― Dongguan China Shoes ・ China Shoetec is
committed to offering the best one-stop sourcing platform
for footwear, materials and machineries. The concurrent
events of the exhibition, another highlight of the
exhibition, are to provide various value-added services
for the participants and an ideal platform for the local
companies to explore new markets.
Numerous Old and New
Exhibitors & Pavilions Confirmed Their Participation
Despite the downturn of China economy, 80% of old
exhibitors of Dongguan China Shoes • China Shoetec have
confirmed their participation. Meanwhile, this fair has
also recruited many new exhibitors to focus on showcasing
their China market oriented products. The 9th Dongguan
China Shoes • China Shoetec has obtained substantial
support not only from international associations, but also
the associations from China, Hong Kong as well as Taiwan,
who actively organize groups to take part in this fair.
Large-scale shoes pavilions including China Chamber of
Commerce for Import & Export of Light Industrial Products
and Arts-Crafts (CCCLA), Dongguan and Taiwan Footwear
Pavilion, Putian Shoes Pavilion, Dongguan Leather and
Material Pavilion, Taiwan Leather & Material Pavilion,
Dongguan Leather & Material Pavilion, etc., will unveil
their latest shoes accessories , leather , shoe-making
technologies and equipment, which will enrich buyers’
sourcing trip.
Apart from inviting
domestic potential buyers like large supermarkets, shoes
chain stores, mail order stores, shoes wholesalers and
E-commerce platforms, the organizer also obtains great
support from the global shoes associations, like Hong Kong
Footwear Association and Vietnam Leather & Footwear
Association. These associations will actively organize
buying groups to participate in this event. What’s more,
this exhibition is upheld by many Chinese shoes
associations with buying group, like China Leather &
Footwear Industry Research Institute, China Council for
the Promotion of International Trade, Dongguan Leather &
Footwear Association, Shenzhen Retailing Association and
Shenzhen Longgang Footwear (Leather) Association, etc.
One-stop Sourcing
Platform for Shoes, Machinery and Materials
This fair is divided into three special zones based on the
products’ category: Shoes Zone, Accessory, Leather and
Material Zone as well as Machinery Zone. Such two
characteristic showcasing zones as “Kid’s Shoes Zone” and
“Functional Shoes Zone” are newly set up in the Shoes
Zone. The “Kid’s Shoe Zone” will witness the presence of
Kairui, Jizhou, Jiazhi and Yingli, etc., while the
“Functional Zone”, Lifa, Jinlong, Jenglong Shoe Materials
Co., Ltd., Fujian Green Shoes & Garments Co., Ltd., etc.
The reputed female shoes companies having determined their
participation include Taihua Shoes, Guanying Shoes,
Xielang and Weifeiya International Co., Ltd., etc. In
addition, some associations and pavilions have enlarged
their exhibition areas. For example, Taiwan Footwear
Manufacturers Association has increased its exhibition
area by 10% compared with last fair.
To meet buyers’ sourcing
demand, the special “Accessory, Leather and Material Zone”
will equip exhibitors with an opportunity to present their
high-end products and the fashion tendency, with
exhibitors’ growth of 20% every year. Famous Dongguan
Wanhua Leather, Hongyun Shoe Material City and Nanfeng
Trade Center will participate with larger-area exhibition
zone. Moreover, the Aegean Leather and Leather Exporters
Association from Turkish will participate jointly with 10
manufacturers to introduce Turkish leather industry and
technology through their latest products showcase. The
newly founded “Synthetic Leather Zone” will unfold the
up-to-date synthetic leather vogue trend and patterns with
presence of Ningbo Wenxiang Labour Protective Products
Co., Ltd., Luying, etc. The “Material Zone” specially set
up in this zone will see the stage of Taiwan Leather &
Material Pavilion and Dongguan Leather and Material
Pavilion. Meanwhile, Dongguan Shoe-making Machinery
Association will organize large scale exhibiting pavilion
to this Machinery Zone to further display the latest
technologies and machines, including Qifeng Shoes Machine
Co., Ltd., Jiuzhou Machinery Co., Ltd., Dongguan Hou Jun
Machinery Factory, Dongguan Jinyingfeng Machinery Co.,
Ltd, Rongsheng Shoe-making Co., Ltd, and Youli Shoes
Machine etc.
“Stock Zone”
Assisting Exhibitors to Circulate Funds
Under the financial crisis, many companies have to
tackle the difficulty of stock increased due to orders
cancelled or dropped. Considering this, the organizer of
the 9th Dongguan China Shoes • China Shoetec cooperates
with Zhongkai Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. (Shoes World
in Guangzhou) to set up the “ stock zone” in the
exhibition area so as to assist them to open up another
marketing channel and boost the funds circulation.
Integrating functions of promotion, exhibition, business
match and trade, the “stock zone” will play an effective
role in companies’ marketing exploitation and endow
companies with more value added services like publicity
leaflets based on products to be widely spread throughout
Guangdong Province and key shoes cities in every province
and city outside Guangdong to draw visitors’ attention;
sending special e-newsletters to 50,000 buyers from
domestic and overseas; cooperation with top shoes cities,
such as Shoes World, Xinhaopan, etc. to match
manufacturers with appropriate wholesale buyers with
all-out efforts; consummate logistic services for buyers
and sellers to facilitate the trade and spur funds
circulation; day cash delivery after trade completion,
etc. At present, exhibitors having confirmed their
participation include Feipeng, Rijia, Jingjin, Cortina,
Yili and Xieheng, etc.
Fabulous Concurrent
Activities
Two professional fashion shows are to be grandly
staged on the morning of May 5 and afternoon of May 6 to
showcase the latest 2009/2010 footwear collections.
Combined with music, light, video and other decorations,
these fashion shows are to uncover the newest styles of
women’s shoes, sports shoes and men’s shoes as well as
works of Hong Kong designers. Apart from the newest shoes
making materials (including semi-manufactured and finished
goods, leather, peltry, hide, man-made synthetic leather
and textile material), the Display Zone is also to
showcase the up-to-date designs of international and
domestic famous brands, the works of famous designers from
Hong Kong and the mainland China and the shoes design
works wining prizes. Particularly, the Aegean Leather and
Leather Exporter Association will lead more than 10
Turkish leather exhibitors to take part in this fair.
Besides the characteristics of Turkish leather, fashions
of this season in Turkey will also be introduced. These
leathers can be used for various products, like shoes,
bags and clothes.
It is urgent for Chinese
shoes industry with tremendous challenges from the
financial crisis to accomplish an upgrading and
transformation. Therefore, the organizer will hold free
seminars on the great occasion and invite industrial
experts to share experience and plans against the
financial turmoil.

shoes manufacturer and exporter in the world, the key to
success for Chinese shoes companies in the new competition
rests with how to successfully meet the CPSIA in America
and the REACH in EU. TÜV Rheinland Group will share the
latest environmental protection regulation changes during
the “Changes of REACH in EU and Solutions” discussion so
as to minimize the influence to your products caused by
these environmental protection laws.
The shoes making
industry is confronted with the unprecedented pressure and
market hard time during the financial crisis. In order to
make the companies in the exhibition to judge their
decisions and adjustments for the financial storm, Pou
Yuen Tech IET will teach the shoes companies to survive in
the crisis with their rich experience in shoes industry
training and share the successful cases on the
“Introduction to Cases of Risks Self-evaluation and
Control Mechanism in Financial Crisis”.
The foreign market
depression, labor cost rise and other factors force the

experienced Hong Kong shoe bag designer , Mr Liu Jinjiang

Not Easy! New Solution to Add Value to Shoe Bag”.

the financial crisis! Under the urgent demand of industry
upgrade and revolution, the Shoes and Bag World will
discuss the “Strategies to Explore the Domestic Market”
and analyze the newest changes on the domestic market and
sales experience in China by symposium.
Chinese shoes are
favored by different types of customers in Russia and
Eastern Europe. The new markets like Russia and Eastern
Europe are the new profit sources during the financial
crisis. The Hong Kong Most Group with abundant experience
in trade service in Russia and Eastern Europe will lecture
on “New Opportunities in Russia and Eastern Europe” to
deeply and fully analyze this huge potential market and
communicate with the participants of the exhibition.
In addition, the experts
in this industry will discuss the following hot topics
like “Shoe design procedure”, “How can a Chinese designer
be creative?”, “How to make profit with innovation?”,
“Different quality requirements between Chinese, European
and American shoes” and “Explanation of the newest

China market. While the visitor pre-registration is hot at
present, it is forecast the overseas visitors number will
be the same as last year, and domestic visitors will see
growth. On the show with 23,000m2 exhibition area at the
Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Houjie,
over 500 exhibitors will present their latest products,
design, technologies and equipments for 21,000 buyers and
visitors as estimated.
