29th AYSAF FAIR TOOK PLACE BETWEEN 22 - 25 MAY 2003 IN TUYAP

FOOTWEAR INDUSTRIALISTS FROM 40 COUNTRIES GATHERED IN THE 29th AYSAF, INTERNATIONAL FOOTWEAR INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS FAIR.

29th edition of AYSAF, International Footwear Industry Suppliers Fair which is organized by RDF FUARCILIK LTD STI, took place between 22 - 25 May 2003 in TUYAP fair and congress center in Beylikdüzü - Istanbul.

Overcoming the negative effects of Iraq war, 29th edition showed a 14 % growth on sqm bases reaching 12.500 sqms and there were be 421 companies displaying their products.

Although mainly from Istanbul, Turkish participants were from 13 different cities. Istanbul was followed by Ankara, Gaziantep, Bursa, Kayseri and Kocaeli.

In this international event, Turkey was followed by Italy. There were also participants from Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Iran, Taiwan, Belgium, China, The Nederlands, Switzerland, Portugal, USA, Austria, Brazil, Indonesia, Finland, Hong Kong, Israel, Slovenia, Thailand. Considering the foreign companies participating through their Turkish agencies, there were 146 foreign companies from 21 different countries participating.

In this edition of AYSAF, the sectorial division has been finally made which enabled the visitors to reach what they were looking for easier than before.

The 29th AYSAF has been visited by 11.650 trade visitors, out of this number 650 were from 43 different countries.

AYSAF is proving its international statues in each fair that is organised.
