The summary of 5th (Chengdu) Int'l Shoe Machinery & Raw Materials Exhibition

The most authoritative leather distinguished gathering in western China- "5th (Chengdu) Int'l Shoe Machinery & Raw Materials Exhibition" was successfully concluded On July 21 in the beautiful city.

The exhibition is the first so large-scale international leather fair after SARS. It is very difficult to hold as scheduled and make such a good result. There were nearly 200 well-known manufacturers participated in the exhibition. They mainly came from countries such as Italy, USA, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Thailand and different areas such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Wenzhou, Guangdong, Fujian, Chengdu etc., Among them Chengdu's native companies such as double star group Chengdu company, Ai MinEr, Wu Ju, Gu Qi (more than 50 enterprises) and Wenjiang children's shoe constitute made a great light spot in the exhibition.

Nearly 8,000 persons visited the fair, there were the leather associations and enterprises from Wenzhou, Guangdong, Hong Kong and etc., and the turnover of the signed contract reached to 10 million Yuan and the intended contract was nearly 23 million yuan. It was the most outstanding exhibition in its history.

The exhibition was sponsored by the People's Government of Chengdu and China Light Industry Corp for Foreign Econ& Tech Coop, and organized by Chengdu Science & Technological Office, Wuhou Government, Chongzhou Government and Donnor Exhibition Co., Ltd.. With the theme "realistic, innovate, develop", we created a specialized platform that brought the advanced technology, equipment and high-quality materials to the leather industry and improved the image of the Chengdu city.

The conferences held during the fair was made up as following:

First, the forum about "How can a western enterprise promote their key competition by using brand strategy and how to open up domestic, international markets" and " How to improve traditional industry by using new technology in the leather industry" makes a climax in the conference.

Second, the ceremonial that China Shoe Quality-control Center award the brand to some Wuhou shoe manufacturers guides and encourages the Chengdu's shoes industry to strive for a famous brand.

Third, the organizer organized a series of activities for the exhibitors and visitors to visit, investigation and communication with the representative leather enterprise in Chengdu, which is a good chance to communicate with the manufacturers face to face.

We expect "Western Shoes" will well known at home and abroad and hope the fair can be more excellent next year!
