The synthetics in the world has been developing since 1960s , the main purpose is to substitute the relative shortage of natural leather.

The synthetics manufacturing in China has been more developed since 1990s, and nowadays the yield of the synthetic in China is the largest quantity in the world.

Meanwhile the synthetics field started in the year of 1991 in Wenzhou city , China. After 12 years of spanned development , Wenzhou synthetics production has become the largest synthetic manufacturing base in China even in the whole Asia. The synthetics products has taken up 70 percent of domestic market and also exported into over 40 countries and regions , including : the U.S.A. , Europe , Africa, Mid-east, Southeast Asia . In October 2002, China Light Industry United Committee officially named Wenzhou as the Synthetics Capital.

The year of 2003 is the first year after the settlement of China Synthetics Capital, and also the challengeable and developing golden year. During this year , Wenzhou synthetics field emphasized the product quality and coherent growth , for thus , it has attracted more attention from the coterie at home and abroad. Quality: Cracking Frontier Of The World In Synthetics Field.
Since Wenzhou has regarded as the China Synthetics Capital in October 2002, Wenzhou synthetics commodity association has made a promising plan to become a synthetics fineness products base , synthetics trading center and center of synthetics. Some manufacturers including Wenzhou Huafeng industrial corporation and Wenzhou leatheroid Co., ltd, Wenzhou Ruipu Industrial Co., Ltd has been fixed or produced the "super-fabric" synthetics.

Scale: one of the best bases in the world
The synthetics field in Wenzhou city has been started in 1991, after 12 years of development , over 110 synthetics manufacturers have been set up , and more than 300 advanced assembly lines have been put into production. In addition , the annual sales volume amount 10 billion RMB, and its various series have been applied in many fields. It has gradually formed the following main features:

1st : Breeds varieties, large yield, and competitive prices.
The production capacity has amounted over 3 million tons each year in Wenzhou and has taken up 70% of the domestic market. Wenzhou synthetics has three main types: wet PU, dry PU/PVC and pressing extend leather. These crafts have been apply to shoes making, clothing, leatherware ,cases, vehicle decoration , aviation etc.

2nd : Strong unity effect of the manufacturers.
Most synthetics manufacturers in Wenzhou are located at Long Wan economic and development zone, consisting of synthetics raw material manufacturers and synthetics manufacturers, and in particular, some manufacturers have their own raw material manufacturing factory. With the innovating spirit of Wenzhou people , the largest synthetics manufacturing base has been in sight in the near future.

3rd:Wide spread sales net work and accelerating trade volume.
Wenzhou synthetics manufacturers has nearly 3000 long-term customers, and its products have been exported into over 40 countries and regions , including Europe , Africa, Mid-east, Southeast Asia etc. In addition , more and more enterprises have obtained export dealing authority, the total trade volume has amounted RMB1500 million.
